When I was growing up all I ever wanted was to have lots and lots of pets, my parents wanted the opposite! They told me when I grow up and move out of the house I could have as many animals as I wanted... Meanwhile 27 years later I have 5 (6 if you include my husband, ha ha just kidding). I love animals, they make me happy to see them every day, not only mine but I enjoy seeing and hearing about other peoples pets. When I worked at an animal hospital I always looked forward to playing with other peoples pets and watching their puppies and kittens grow up.
    So here is a page I want to dedicate to all the special animals I had in my life. Ok so as you will see I did have some pets as a kid but I really wanted a dog...but the pets I did have were the love of my life.

Memory:  Rainbow lived for 4 years and Goldy lived for 10 years and had so many almost death experiences but my dad and I kept her alive for this long, I can't believe it. The best memory I have of them is in the picture. I had a birthday party for them and invited some of my friends from school.

Memory:(Just so you know he lived with my mom & dad when I went to college) He always knew when I came home before I came in. He knew when I was on the phone calling my mom. When I was still living at home he would fly around looking in all the rooms for me. If I was crying he would fly over and clean my tears off my face.

Dislikes: Being out of the cage in the open, anything that moves too fast. He was afraid of everything.
Memory: His wings were clipped and I would place him on the hard wood floors and he would flap his wings it made him hover backwards. Another memory is one morning I woke up and turned the lights on where his cage was kept covered. There was a small hole in the towel covering it and out popped his little head to say hi, he chirped (bleeped) and quickly stuck his head back in.

Memory: When I lived in an apartment on the third floor and farthest away from the elevator, I would take him to get the mail in the basement. When I got on the elevator to go home he would sit wait for the doors to open and when he got out he would take the long hop (walk) back to the apartment door and wait for me to finally catch up. He knew which turns to take to go back. I think that is amazing!

Memory: When she is out and it is time to go in the cage I can't catch her. So I have to tell her in a stern voice to get in the cage. She always turns to me opens her eyes wide then squints them in the most evil look and jumps in the cage making a huge thump to let me know she is really mad.

Dislikes: Not being with me!
Memory: One day he was screaming and screaming in the other room. He wanted me to play with him. So he must have gotten fed up and jumped off the cage walked up two flights of stairs, down the hall way and into the bathroom where I felt him climbing up my leg (scared me half to death) got on my shoulder, proceeded to poop on me, then get fluffed up and gave me a kiss on my face. What a BRAT! I love that bird.
Tricks: Dance, Spins both left and right when told, comes when called, can pick witch ball is yellow and pink and give it to me, kisses.
Says: I love you, Parchie, and Yeah, ( Ok he mumbles them, I just can't get him to say them clearly, any ideas?)

Likes: Being outside (only on a leash), crying, sleeping, feet, kicking his face, Laser tag, Parchofi the bird, and taping me on the arm to tell me that he would like a taste of my food.
Dislikes: Aunty Rachie, being held too long, Parchofi screaming, and doors being shut.
Memory: One time the bird was on the counter and he pooped over the edge. The cat came over and looked at me. I said to him, " Well, are you going to clean it up?" The cat  cried and looked down at the birds poop and proceeded to wipe it with his paw, like cats do in their litter boxes.
Tricks: Goes to the bathroom in the toilet, never has used his claws on anything but the scratching post, even when scared he won't, he will sit, lay down, up (on my leg), come when told, plays dead, rolls over, taps the door handle to be let out, sits and waits by bowl for food when told, walks on leash, when asked if he is hungry he has to tap the cup of food. (These are all commands that he does, well most of the time he is after all a cat!)

Memory: When he is happy to see someone or thing, he comes walking backwards with his bottom facing you, then he sits on you, usually your face if you're at his height.
Tricks: Sit, wait, leave it, high five & counts to three. He is still a puppy so he has a lot to learn especially if he wants to do better than the cat.
